- The basket stretcher has an adjustable feet-securing mechanism and safety belts. Basket stretchers are also designed to be secured inside the helicopter. - The stretcher’s high-density polyethylene shell is supported by a fully attached, heavy-duty aluminum frame. Molded-in runners and handholds make the stretcher easy to handle, even on rough terrain. It can be used with an adjustable lifting bridle, thanks to well-placed brass grommets (always use tag lines when lifting the stretcher).
- The shell resists chemicals, UV, rust, and corrosion and holds a replaceable foam cell closed pad for patient comfort. Finally, four two-piece 5’ quick release straps can be moved to different positions to fit each patient.
